The CAF executive committee met on, Monday, 16 December 2024 in Marrakech, Morocco in a gathering chaired by the President Dr Patrice Motsepe.
Motsepe opened the meeting by congratulating Morocco following the decision to award the centenary FIFA World Cup 2030 to a joint bid by Morocco, Portugal and Spain.
The Executive Committee deliberated on the CAF Competitions Calendar for 2025 and beyond.

CAF President Dr Motsepe also held a meeting with the 54 CAF Member Associations on Monday afternoon and discussed matters relating to developing football in each country.
This includes building stronger partnerships between Member Associations, Governments, FIFA, other Confederations and the private sector.
