The Pool Association of Uganda (PAU) is getting ready for full recognition! The delegates had an important meeting recently at the Nob View Hotel in Ntinda. This meeting was very special because it helped them follow the new rules for sports in Uganda.

The big goal of this meeting was to make sure PAU can get official registration with the National Council of Sports (NCS). This is like getting a special pass to keep playing and organizing pool games across the country.
During the meeting, the PAU made some important changes. Among them, was the addition of a new person to the executive, called the “Clubs Representative.” This person will make sure that the different pool clubs have a say in how things are run. They also changed the name of “Tournament Director” to “Technical Director,” which sounds like a more important role to help pool players get better.
Another big decision was to honor elections very soon. The interim, since January 2024, will let new leadership take charge after these elections for four years.
The PAU will submit all the documentations including all affiliation from over fifty districts across the country.
