In a major boost to youth sports development, FUFA Women Player of the Year Zainah Nandede has officially joined Twinbrook Schools as a brand ambassador. The acclaimed football star becomes the latest high-profile figure to align with the institution, following in the footsteps of former Uganda Cranes captain Denis Onyango. Her appointment signals the school’s commitment to excellence, discipline, and talent cultivation across genders.

During a vibrant visit to the school’s main campus in Kiteezi-Bamba, Nandede was warmly received by Director Hajji Jafari Ssenganda. The decorated midfielder took time to interact with pupils, sharing her journey in professional football and offering words of motivation rooted in discipline, determination, and passion. Her presence created a buzz of excitement, with students eager to learn from one of Uganda’s most influential female athletes.
“I urge all of you to be focused, hardworking, and above all, love what you do,” Nandede told the students, many of whom look up to her as a role model. Her message was clear and empowering, success is not accidental but a product of consistency and passion. She engaged pupils in practical activities and discussions that highlighted sports as a viable path for both personal growth and career success.
Director Ssenganda hailed the partnership as a transformative step for the school’s sporting agenda. “Having Zainah here is not just an honor—it’s a game changer,” he said. “Her achievements and discipline on and off the pitch are qualities we want to instill in our students. She will play a vital role in mentoring our boys and girls, both on the field and in life.”
With over 300 students enrolled, Twinbrook Schools continues to grow as a hub of academic and athletic excellence. The addition of Zainah Nandede to its ambassadorial team strengthens the school’s vision of nurturing future leaders and sports stars, ensuring that inspiration and aspiration go hand in hand in shaping the next generation.
