AFCON Morocco 2025: CAF Unveils Ticketing Roadmap and Digital Fan Experience

With just 100 days left until Africa’s biggest football spectacle kicks off in Morocco, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Local Organising Committee (LOC) have rolled out the much-anticipated ticketing strategy for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations 2025. Alongside the announcement, a series of innovative initiatives have been revealed, designed to elevate the fan journey and mark the countdown to the continent’s premier tournament.

Supporters can begin registering online from 12 to 24 September 2025 via tickets.cafonline.com to receive priority alerts before tickets officially go on sale. The first wave of ticketing opens on 25 September at noon Moroccan time with an exclusive pre-sale for Visa cardholders, running until 27 September. From 14h00 on the same day, the general public will gain access, though initial sales will be limited to 30% of stadium capacity.

CAF has structured ticket access into three phases, offering flexibility for local and international fans. After the September launch, a second window will open between 21 and 23 October, again giving Visa users an early advantage before sales expand broadly with another 30% allocation. The final phase, beginning 21 November, will unlock tickets for all matches and payment options, ensuring wider availability.

A major highlight of Morocco 2025 will be the debut of the Yalla App, an all-in-one digital hub for supporters. Beyond acting as the gateway for Fan ID registration and stadium entry, the platform introduces an integrated e-Visa system, streamlining travel arrangements for fans worldwide. Real-time updates, exclusive tournament content, and personalized information will transform the way fans engage with AFCON, making it the most connected edition in history.

Travel and logistics are also receiving a significant boost, with Royal Air Maroc—CAF’s global airline partner—adding over 660 flights and expanding capacity by more than 50%. Tailored packages will serve the African diaspora, especially those transiting through Casablanca, turning layovers into unique chances to experience the tournament firsthand. With these combined efforts, AFCON Morocco 2025 promises to deliver not only world-class football but also a reimagined fan experience on and off the pitch.
