The stage is set for an electrifying edition of the Busoga Masaza Cup as the tournament organizers officially unveiled the groupings for the 2025 campaign. The ceremonial draw, conducted under the theme “Busoga Okwisania N’amaani” (Busoga United in Strength), has sparked excitement across the region, promising intense rivalries and thrilling football action.
Four groups, Nendha, Mawembe, Bukowe, and Kagulu, have been formed, each boasting a mix of traditional powerhouses and emerging contenders. Group Nendha features Butembe, Busiki, Kigulu, and Bukooli Namayingo, while Group Mawembe is lined up with Bukono, Bunhole Bunanumba, Budiope, and Bugweri, setting the stage for highly anticipated matchups.
Group Bukowe has three teams, Bugabula, Luuka, and Bukooli Bugiri, making it the most compact but equally competitive group. Kagulu, on the other hand, brings together the spirited trio of Bazaaya, Bulamogi, and Bunha, all of whom are expected to ignite the pitch with youthful talent and community pride.
