The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and Morocco’s Local Organising Committee (LOC) have officially unveiled the Volunteer Programme for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025, setting the stage for one of Africa’s largest volunteer-driven sporting spectacles.

Scheduled to run from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026, the tournament will be spread across six Moroccan cities and nine world-class stadiums. CAF expects over 4,000 volunteers to power operations behind the scenes, ranging from spectator services and hospitality to media coordination and accreditation, ensuring the smooth delivery of Africa’s premier football championship.
Applications are now open at volunteers.cafonline.com and will close on 8 October 2025. The programme is open to all individuals aged 18 and above, with successful candidates undergoing structured training in October and November before being deployed for tournament operations starting mid-December.
Beyond matchday duties, the initiative is designed to create a legacy. Volunteers will gain professional training, certificates of participation, official tournament uniforms, and the opportunity to join a growing alumni network of skilled Africans equipped to support future global events. The programme also promises personal rewards: new friendships, professional exposure, and the experience of contributing to Africa’s most celebrated football showcase.
CAF stressed that the programme will operate on the values of integrity, professionalism, and discipline, underscoring its ambition to deliver not just a tournament, but a long-term platform for youth development and continental pride. With millions of fans expected to descend on Morocco, AFCON 2025 will offer volunteers a once-in-a-lifetime chance to be at the beating heart of African football.
