Entebbe UPPC FC’s struggles on home turf resurfaced sharply as they fell 2–0 to a well-organized Police FC side in Bugonga, marking yet another disappointing outing in front of their own fans. Returning from the international break, Entebbe looked far from revived, conceding early control and failing to convert key moments into goals.

The result compounds their worrying home form, with only two wins—against NEC and Lugazi—registered from five fixtures at the lake-side stadium. This slump comes despite a star-studded technical bench boasting former Cranes greats Abdallah Mubiru, Livingstone Mbabazi, Walusimbi “Jajja Walu,” and Henry Kisekka. Their pedigree, however, is yet to translate into the consistency expected on home soil.
Ironically, the same Entebbe side carries a flawless away record, winning all their outings on the road. Their contrasting form raises questions about mentality, tactical approach, and the pressure of performing under home expectations. The coaching staff now faces mounting pressure to find answers quickly before the season slips out of their grasp.

Elsewhere, Calvary FC suffered a narrow 1–0 defeat to UPDF FC in Yumbe, a result that further tightens the contest in the lower half of the SUPL table. The West Nile side will feel hard-done after a spirited performance that failed to yield a point.
The Uganda Premier League resumes tomorrow with a lineup of enticing clashes: Kitara FC hosts BUL FC at 4:00PM, followed by an evening showdown between SC Villa and NEC FC at 8:00PM. On Friday, KCCA FC welcomes URA FC under the floodlights at 8:00PM, before Saturday’s headline fixture pits Vipers SC against Maroons FC in another 8:00PM kickoff.
