The 2025 USSSA Ball Games II netball final is set to captivate fans this Thursday afternoon at Tororo Girls School in Tororo District, Eastern Uganda. Defending champions St Mary’s Boarding Secondary School Kitende will face off against their arch-rivals Buddo SS in a highly anticipated repeat of last year’s title clash in Soroti.

St Mary’s Kitende, guided by seasoned coach Nourdine Kato Hassan, are eyeing another historic triumph to reinforce their legacy as record champions. Their disciplined and tactically superior performance in the semifinal saw them overcome top-four debutants Hamdan Islamic SS, edging the Mukono-based side 28-22 in a well-contested match.
Buddo SS, meanwhile, displayed grit and determination to book their spot in the final, surviving a late scare from St Noa Girls School in a closely fought semifinal that ended 24-20. With redemption on their minds, Buddo SS will be hoping to deny Kitende another crown and assert their own dominance on the national stage.
The grand finale is scheduled for 3:00 PM at Tororo Girls School, immediately following the third-place playoff between St Noa Girls and Hamdan Islamic SS. Fans can expect a fierce contest of speed, precision, and tactical mastery as the two powerhouses battle for netball supremacy.
Beyond the final, all four semifinalists, Kitende, Buddo, St Noa, and Hamdan Islamic, have secured their tickets to represent Uganda at the 2025 Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSSA) Games slated for next month in Kakamega, Kenya.
