This past weekend 18th and 19th October 2025, Uganda’s motorsport and Motorcross community came together not just for the love of speed, but for something even more important SAFETY. Hosted at Carol House on Bombo Road, Kampala , Uganda the First Aid & Emergency Readiness Training organised by ASMOCU and Women in Motorsport Uganda was a game-changer for rallying and motocross in the country.
The turnout was impressive drivers, co-drivers, riders, FMU officials, parents, team officials, safety marshals, media crews, and passionate fans showed up in large numbers, united by one goal: to build a safer motorsport and Motocross environment. With hands-on training in CPR, bleeding control, handling unconscious victims, and real-life emergency scenarios, participants gained life-saving knowledge that could make the difference in critical moments.
Well-prepared medical teams, professional trainers, and top-notch support from Segamu 14 Consult and other sponsors ensured the training was both impactful and engaging. Women in Motorsport Uganda played a vital role in leading and coordinating the event their dedication and behind-the-scenes efforts truly shaped the success of the entire weekend.
This training was more than an event, it was a powerful statement. Motorsport in Uganda is evolving, not just in speed, but in safety, responsibility, and readiness. We are stronger, more aware, and better prepared.
For the love of the game, we trained to save lives. And Motorsport community just getting started.
