TICAD Cup 2025: Bwizi SS She Falcons FC Qualifies for Finals

On Saturday, the TICAD Cup 2025 finalist team selection tournament, organized by JICA, took place at Rwamwanja Stadium in Kamwenge, Fort Portal. Three teams participated: Western Giants Academy, She Global Queens FC, and Bwizi SS She Falcons FC.

In a thrilling match, Bwizi SS She Falcons FC emerged victorious, securing their spot in the TICAD Cup finals. After a closely contested game, the team won 2:1 in a penalty shootout against She Global Queens FC. The winning penalty was scored by Sharon Azio.

The TICAD Cup finals are scheduled to take place on September 4th and 5th at Njeru Technical Center in Jinja. This tournament, organized by JICA, aims to promote talent and support refugee children in camps.

By providing a platform for young refugees to showcase their skills, JICA’s initiative is making a positive impact on their lives. Bwizi SS She Falcons FC’s qualification is a testament to their hard work and dedication.
