Leading the Ugandan charge is reigning African rally champion Yasin Nasser together with co-driver Ali Katumba. The duo, competing under Team Moil, arrives in Kenya with confidence after their dominant performances on the continental stage.
Their technical team has been working around the clock in the service park to ensure the car is perfectly prepared for the brutal Safari conditions. Another Ugandan driver attracting attention is Oscar Ntambi, who will be competing with support from KCB Bank.
Ntambi and his technical crew are currently completing final rewon their beloved Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, ensuring the machine is ready to face the unforgiving Safari terrain.
Despite it being his first appearance in the Safari Rally, Ntambi has shown remarkable calm and focus ahead of the event. With experienced co-driver Uthuman Nasser in the navigator’s seat, the team is optimistic about delivering a memorable performance.

Another crowd favorite from Uganda is the ever-entertaining Duncan Mubiru, widely known as Kikankane. Backed by Betika, Mubiru and Joseph Kamya, his technical crew have been fine-tuning their rally machine in the service park, making the final preparations before the rally action begins.
