Uganda’s national netball team, the She Cranes, have officially entered residential training camp as preparations intensify ahead of the 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.

The team entered camp on 28th June and will undergo a rigorous training programme until 11th July, when they travel to South Africa for a five-day international friendly tournament against the Proteas. According to head coach Rashid Mubiru, the tournament will serve as a crucial tune-up camp, giving the team valuable match exposure and an opportunity to sharpen their skills ahead of the Commonwealth Games.
The squad brings together a blend of experience, talent, and determination, with Uganda’s finest netball stars ready to carry the nation’s hopes on the international stage.
