Man United Fans Uganda FC player and team representative Bruno Kayongo—popularly known as Kayongo Fashions has asked Manchester United supporters across the country to show up in full force this Saturday at the HAMZ Stadium (Nakivubo War Memorial). His team will be playing against Titans FC to battle for the final spot in the HAMZ Cup quarterfinals.
Speaking to journalists on Tuesday, September 22, Kayongo emphasized how important the fans’ support will be for the team.
“I call on every Man United fan that this Saturday is a big day for the Uganda fans club. Come in big numbers and fill this stadium as we back our team to secure the last quarterfinal place of the HAMZ Cup tournament.”

Fans attending the stadium will get to watch two games for the price of one. Action kicks off in the afternoon with a FUFA Women Super League match before the main HAMZ Cup fixture later in the evening. Entrance to watch both games is 5,000 Ugandan Shillings.
“It is a big day because the entrance will be open in the morning, starting with a Women’s Super League game between URA FC Women and Makerere University at midday, then our game at 7:00pm. For both games, the entrance fee is Shs5,000.” Bruno Kayongo
To get ready for Saturday’s knockout game, Man United Fans Uganda FC played a friendly warm-up match against top-flight Uganda Premier League club Express FC on Tuesday at HAMZ Stadium. Although Express FC narrowly won 3–2, the match gave the fans’ team a valuable test before puting their unbeaten HAMZ Cup record on the line against
HAMZ Cup coordinator Hakim Kasirye assured supporters that all arrangements are set and that tournament prizes pledged by businessman Hajj Hamis Kiggundu alongside team leaders Rogers Mulindwa and stadium manager Ashiraf Turyatunga are ready to be awarded.
Kasirye also pointed out the fierce competition among teams to bring the largest group of supporters to the stadium.
“One of the exciting battles remains between teams with the most supporters. This keeps improving game by game, with Man United Fans hugely contesting with TikTok FC and Sanyu D Bags. The race is still open and any other team can possibly join the contest.” Hakim Kasirye
